Hans is a Partner in Finch Capital’s European funds and is a Managing Partner in joint ventures in Asia being Cydonia and Arise. 

 

Prior to joining Finch Capital, Hans was a serial entrepreneur & investor with over 15 years of international experience across multiple high-technology industries including mobile, social media and Fintech and has extensive experience of South East Asia having previously been based in Singapore. He co – founded 3 global businesses (Telitas, TMG, CLIQ) with enterprise values totalling EUR 150m+ and took the companies from start-up to exit (IPO or trade sale). Since 2011 he made 11 personal investments with an average MM of 4+, including Society One, Australia’s leading P2P Platform.

 

Hans is co-founder of Incubasia Ventures, a tech-incubator and Singapore Fintech Consortium, a FinTech industry body, both based in Singapore. He sits on 5 boards – private and public companies, including Pocket Media (NL/US), Dr Panda (China), Inzen (Singapore). Hans started his career as a lawyer with Allen and Overy, specializing in mergers and acquisitions.

 

Hans holds Masters Degrees in Corporate Law and Tax Law from the University of Amsterdam.
