Mike joined Finch Capital in 2019. Prior to joining Finch Capital, Mike was a Senior Advisor with the High Potential Start Up (HPSU) Division of Enterprise Ireland (the venture capital arm of the Irish Government) where he invested public money in early stage technology companies (Seed & Series A) with a particular focus on SaaS, Deep Tech and FinTech startup businesses.

 

Before Enterprise Ireland, Mike was a founder of a number of award winning startups, including FinTech startup FundCalcs.com. He has also worked in a CTO role with a social ecommerce startup, as a Statistician with the global market research group TNS and as a Software Engineer with Basis Technology.

 

Mike holds a Masters Degree from Trinity College Dublin in Computer Engineering and postgraduate qualifications in Statistics and Actuarial Science.
